...is impactful both in terms of size and depth. We basically had / have three things that were supposed to come clear this spring, each of which will have a big impact on our team's prospects these next couple of seasons:

--MeCullough's decision to stay or go
--Bryant's college decision
--Battle's college decision

0-2 so far. Dammit.

Please note, I'm not suggesting that the sky is falling. But even having either of McCullough or Bryant would have made a big difference on next year's squad. Losing both stinks.

Here's hoping Battle gives us some good news.

If we miss out on him, then the post-sanction fallout couldn't have been worse in terms of outcomes for our program.

To balance you out, in fairness there were other a few big things that would come clear:

-- Mike G's decision to stay or go
-- Whether there would be a second year of post season ban
-- Whether our 2015 class would all stay true to SU

We got a good outcome on all of those.

It is easy to feel the world is crashing around us right now, and certainly there have been some heavy blows landed, but I think the recovery from this will be nothing like the setback 1992 was.

Houston... that is an affirmative! All systems go. You are cleared for take off!

And, what's that saying...bad things happen in threes. Ugh!
