and then there's pete carroll's ice the kicker and give him a practice kick.

seattle should've sent his own kicker out there and iced him at the end of the game to see if he had the leg before deciding on the hail mary

not even mentioning atlanta's worst timed onside kick of all time

simple rules. if you're going to send a kicker out there, have them kick it as far as they can. that's what they're good out. if you don't want them kicking far, you shouldn't have them kick at all
