#1 He coached at Purdue against B1G defensive lines for a decade with some of the best offenses in the conference (cant have a good offense without a good line, as we have witnessed unfortunately first hand) and he was supposedly a much better coach than recruiter, which is fine with our staff

#2 This hire was who Jeff Nixon wanted (not a Fran hire).  Guy has been around over 20 years across P5 and NFL, I assume he knows what he needs and has known Dale going back to college.  I have found in life you bump into a small amount of people who just do things at the level and the way you rarely find and you always know you would love to reconnect.  Those are almost never misses from a hiring standpoint (in my personal experience)
