If lemon can go it will be Sales and Lemon followed by West and Flemming. I think that those four get the most run with Kobena thrown into the mix

Ol I think that Alexander is going to have a good year and with Hickey doing well and Pugh coming back we should be set at tackle. I feel good about this position. I also think that we are going to be fine with three solid guards and Andy adds nice depth at multiple positions. All in all i believe the line will do much better.

RB Smith will start as he is the vet and safe choice.

LB Davis Diet Spruill

DB Reddish Anderson who will be replaced by Whig within weeks.

S Sham and Wilkes

Punter Dixon

KO Norton

Kor Kobena

Pr ?

Ash gets 10 touches a game.

Team goes 6-6

Doug gets a 3 year extension

I hate the O we have run the last few years. I wish the staff would do the following:

-Go to a Spread and have Broyld be our main RB backed up by PTG and Morris. Running out of this formation shouldn't be much of an adjustment for Broyld vs being a running QB in his prior experience.

-Smith and AAM would be used in short yardage situations.

-Rotate Sales, Lemon, West, and Flemming as outside WRs.

-Start Kobena in the slot with his backups being Clark and Rene. Use this to run bubble screens, end arounds, etc. This would keep Ds honest and help open things up for the running game.

-Start Stevens backed up by Wales and Cutler at TE.

IMO that would give our O the best chance at being successful and would be getting our best players on the field at the same time. Which means I highly doubt we ever see it. IMO we need to be less like Stanford and more like Northwestern style wise.

I think Lyn will start at the other corner spot across from Reddish. He is the biggest of all the CB's and I think if he can keep his head on straight he can be the most talented.

If CIL is right, your impossible dream of looking like the Northwestern offense is where they are heading, he posted this about a week or two ago...

Didn't SU try the bubble screens the year that Paulus was the QB and SU had the OC from Clemson? I'm still skeptical as to when Flemming will return. I think the OL will be decent once Pugh returns. If Hickey stays healthy, I think he'll make a good RT.
