The main knock or complaint about MCW as we know is his shooting ability. While he's not the greatest shooter, sure seems like it's good enough now to be a point guard. His first job is to play make, lead, drive, and distribute, which MCW does quite well. Plus he's got size.

As for his shooting, look at Rondo. He was not a good shooter at all (terrible form), but that did not stop him from becoming one of the best points in the NBA. And Rondo has worked on his shot and definitely improved. So will MCW.

So, scratch the complaint.

mcw should be well suited for the league. His length coupled with nba defensive rules should help him get his points in the paint. His ability as a pg and a defender will serve him well. He would be best off with a contender with a chance to grow.

Key for MCW is to land somewhere with solid scoring at the 2/3. If he lands in that situation, he'll be really well off.

Besides his shooting concerns, certainly one can make an argument that he needs to improve his decision making, especially in critical/high game pressure moments as many times he made repeated/similar type mistakes. As is the well documented off-court (poor) decision, it's a behavioral trait, that is not easily overcome...

It's their main complaint, but it isn't keeping him from getting drafted in the lottery. And probably 1st PG in the draft.

very sizable shooting sample. very poor results. the numbers are out there. gonna draft on potential or dreams of better days.
