The Good:

The seniors didn't have great overall games, but at least their play improved when it mattered. I liked Kris's 8 boards & 3 blocks & Scoop finally hitting some FTs at the end - even if that required a second chance.
X & B were respectable in the middle. I actually thought I saw BMK catch & finish a couple. Maybe I need a new prescription.
It was a win.
The Bad:
Dion - great first half & did nothing in the second half. Falling in love w the three (1 for 5 & that was after making the first one). Gotta say I saw that one coming - see a few of my recent posts. He should have been able to take them off the dribble & score at will - put Kris in that same liferaft.
CJ - Where oh where has my mid-range J gone.
D left something to be desired - looked lethargic for much of the game. We played like we didn't respect them & it almost cost us. Talk about us being lucky that their star went 1 for 9 from afar & 1 for 13 overall. Well what about their two other guys who combined for 7 for 11 from trey range. they still made 39% at distance. Credit to them & not so much credit to our D.
The Mysterious:
Why did Jimmy pull Triche early when he made his first couple & Scoop wasn't doing much ? Backcourt should have been Brandon & Dion at that point. Maybe we then don't trail at the half.
What does Jimmy have against giving MCW a chance ? I know I am not exactly a spring chick & the memory sometimes falters, but as best I can re-collect MCW was pretty damn good his last time out.
Was there a reason that James was on the bench in the last minute or two ? Seems he has the height to help on either end of the in-bounds play & the stroke to hit freebees if he is the receiver & they foul him.
The Summation:
We avoided history - thank goodness. Team continues to fail the look test & manage to win games that look like they could go either way. Great will to win.
Nonetheless, the end to something is near. Either we improve our play & start passing the "look" test & really get it together or we will not be long for this Dance. I just can't see more than one or two more of these types of wins at best.
