I think back to 09-10 rautins, wes, ao, Kjo, even scoop later in the season had isoation scoring skills. A big reason we were so dominant, and can be extemely overlooked, because of two things. One our ability to score from all over the court that year which lead to assists.  And  two we had a few verteran shooters from outside with real deep range, that could also shoot under pressure.

AO had the ability to back his man down 92 percrent of the time, Rautins the ability to hit a three with a hand in his face, and wes' the ability to make his defender play off him so he could shoot or drive. KJO had the ability to take his man one on one from the top of the three point with fresh legs,and by march scoop started to develop the same.

I fear this could continue into next year if grant leaves or doesn't put some weight on. We will see Joseph forcing alot early, and I can't imagine mccullough as a big isolation scorer to maybe late in the season.

I think Gbinije has a outside chance of becoming a decent isolation scorer (especially at forward) if he can start knocking down those 12 footers from the sides not just the top of the free throw line.

The first thing I look at from a Syracuse team is isoation scorers. Most top 5 dominant teams usually have 2 or atleast one really good one.
