Agree. To me they are like solid bonds while freshmen are like gambling on stocks. I want to see McFarland in the open more in 2014 catching passes since his role may be diminished. I'd love to see Eck play a whole year healthy, wow...if he could, we'd see even more than we have from that young man.
I hate to disagree but I will. I am not a fan of rating high school kids with stars. However, once they actually play in college we can fairly confidently say how they panned out. I would rate PTG and Smith both about 3.5 stars. That's not to say I don't like them. I do and I am very happy to have them on the team. I think a 5 star is a first round draft pick. Pugh was a 5 star.
I am glad all three are staying, but anytime a kid has completed their degree I don't bemoan them leaving. Especially RBs they can only take so many hits. I am glad Jerome, and Prince-Tyson are returning, but after watching the Maurice Clarrett 30 for 30 I wouldn't have blamed them(especially Jerome who I think could make an NFL roster, I don't think PTG will be playing in the NFL, but I will root for him to do so) for leaving assuming they both got their degrees. For Eskridge to leave wouldn't have been smart because he has only been here for 3 years, and I don't think he will graduate in 3 years. Eskridge coming back finishing his degree and leaving as a redshirt Junior wouldn't be out of the question.

these guys not only bring it on the field but will bring great leadership in the locker room and practice field great to have the three of them another year
