Three players who i think will contribute more than expected are Burke, Dietab, Anene.

I really think that both of those guys played well at LB when they got time last year and i expect with them both getting significant run this spring because of injuries they are going to see the field. As to Travon he looks the part and with us being so thin at FB he is a snap away from action.

Anene played in the Okie last year when Shamarko was hurt. Vigille will see the field first this year.

I thought that Anene played well. I wouldnt be surprised to see him a little in the middle this spring as he has the size.

He only played because we wanted to redshirt Vigille. Doubtful him or Burke gets PT besides special teams this year.

I was watching some replays and felt that he played well dont mind him on the field at all. As to Burke i dont know much about him but he sure looks the part. Who do you see as two deep at FB?

Amene did not look very big compared to the other linebackers, I don't believe that he is 6-1 225, probably alot closer to 5-10 195. As was stated before he played when Shamarko was injured.

My personal belief is that Donnie Simmons (at least in the spring) is going to surprise some people. If they don't move either Bromley or Goggins out to end after spring practice I think that is because they believe that Simmons can play regularly this year. Secondly I think Eric Crume is going to have an all Big-East season (more honorable mention that 1st team). He is huge and anchors well. On top of that if he makes plays early and draws regular double teams he can make the linebackers far better. Finally I think Jeremiah Kobena is going to have a huge impact. He won't catch 5 balls a game but look at last years stats from Andrew Dubose of Florida. He only had 16 catches on the season but he averaged 27 yards per catch. I think Kobena can do something like that. If they hit him for a deep ball every other game (30 yd. average) thats going to be absolutely HUGE in opening up underneath passing for Sales and West as well as opening running lanes every time Kobena is on the field.

As long as Kobena only has to run in a straight line.

God, I hope not. If we are relying on Anene and Burke to contribute this year we're totally and I might as well start booking tee times for Saturdays this fall. Burke I can see playing some spot duty at FB this year, but Anene is seeing tim over Vigillie Lynch, Vaughan, and Davis that means we have way too many guys hurt and a 3-9 season is in the works.

Flemming
Welsh
Coker

A wild ass guess, based on being part of the program for three years, getting stronger, smarter, not starters per se but able to contribute in spots.

Sorry kc, but Burke will back up M.Davis. Anene and Diabete will both lose time due to Vigille. All three guys will hopefully be decent special team guys.

I expect that mr flemming will do just fine this year. I also think that we can expect a decent contribution out of Reddish at CB
