I bought the hype when TD committed and after the UNC game, I was all in on TD leading us to ACC championship games. I don't know where things went awry, and it's not all on TD, his supporting cast has been less than ideal. At the same time, I look around at other peer programs and see that they have more success with less. I want a qb who takes charge of a team and picks them up at various times and wills them to a win. TD hasn't done that really since 2018. I think a great deal of the blame falls on the coaching staff and their failure to get the offense clicking. At the same time, I don't get the feeling the offense has confidence in TD, or anyone for that matter.
But, if you're making the argument that Tommy is interchangeable with Nassib and Dungey, I disagree.
