I wonder if Wayne Morgan is not qualified. There is just no way 'all' those schools have backed off a kid who runs a 10.8 110 meters, 4.4 forty, and a 35 inch vert. His shuttle was outstanding to. He's been a combine freak, there is just no way schools would back off.

Is it possible that Doug has not given Morgan the thumbs-up yet - perhaps pending first semester grades coming in okay?

Could it be they have gotten commits from other DBs with freak measurements already from areas with a better rep for producing talent than NYC?

Bama had 2 CB's and 1 Safety commit in August already. They've since added a JUCO CB with offers from everyone.

Not that I don't think we wouldn't gladly take both... but maybe that former Michigan commit that we are looking at was the last CB to verbal to the Wolverines, and was the guy that pushed Morgan out of that inn when he wouldn't give an early commitment. And now it's happening all over again.
