17. Dallas Mavericks. Dion Waiters, PG/SG, Syracuse. Waiters was a top sixth man for the Orange, and probably could have posted better numbers on a team without so much backcourt depth. But he is expected to impress in workouts and should work his way into the middle of the first round.
20. Denver Nuggets. Fab Melo, C, Syracuse. The Nuggets traded away Nene this season, and they’re not sold on JaVale McGee as the long-term solution inside. Adding a talented center who will need some time to develop, like Melo, is a good back-up plan.TSN

Dion Waiters (No. 10) -- With no position per se, Waiters should have the same role in the pros as in college, where he came in and changed the tempo. He is a dynamic Dwyane Wade-type of driver who will be a streaky shooter from NBA range, but he can get to the rim and is ideal for playing the role of an off-the-bench dynamo
Fab Melo (No. 21) -- Melo made a magical improvement jump from Year 1 to Year 2, and he continues to improve his body. Melo is huge, he can shoot from 15, he can catch and is a basket protector.
