How Do You Cut an NBA All-Star? JB Explains (PS; Waters)
Jim Boeheim's biggest job with the USA Basketball is not his role as the top assistant to Duke coach Mike Krzyzewski on the U.S. Olympic team.
Never mind that the two Hall of Fame coaches have combined to lead the United States to gold medals in the 2008 and 2012 Olympics, plus the 2010 FIBA World Championships.
It's been a remarkably successful run, but Boeheim serves in another critical role with USA Basketball. For the past 14 years, Boeheim has sat on the selection committee for the U.S. Junior National Team. The longtime Syracuse coach has been the committee's chairman since 2005.
In that role, Boeheim oversees the selection of players and coaches for the United States teams that play at the collegiate level and up. That means from Under-18 teams to World University Games teams to Pan American Games teams, Boeheim is involved in every step of the selection process. A separate committee oversees the developmental program at the high school level.

ESPN's Chad Ford Lists Only One Syracuse Player Among His Top 100 Draft Prospects: Dajuan Coleman (PS; Carlson)
ESPN's Chad Ford put out his big board of 100 prospects for the 2015 NBA Draft and, if he's anywhere close to accurate, Syracuse fans won't have to worry about any of these pesky draft debates next year.
Ford lists only one Syracuse player among his top prospects on ESPN Insider, junior center Dajuan Coleman, who Syracuse isn't sure will play this season after he underwent undisclosed surgery in an area around his knee.
Coleman checks in at No. 99 in his rankings, meaning Ford expects few players to go through the process that Tyler Ennis and Jerami Grant went through this season.
