Thursday's key game of the day: Nova at Xavier

Villanova has a tough two game stretch to finish the season. At Xavier tonight, where they are favored by three points, and then they finish up at home vs Georgetown on Saturday. According to the updated Bracket Matrix from last night, Nova is currently projected as the top #2 seed and still in the hunt for a one seed. If the season ended today, there would be a good chance that they would be the #2 seed in the East behind Kansas.

Bottom line: We need Xavier to protect their home court and avenge their 23 point loss at Villanova earlier this season. Let's go Team X!!!

We might want Nova to win out and get the #1 in the East and we could still get the two ahead of Virginia and even Kansas. Or we could be the #3 if Kansas gets the #2. There is a lot going on there so I am just rooting for Nova to lose tonight.
