At times like this you need strong leadership. Nancy needs to and trust me she will make sure this is handled well. Doc needs to move the administrative leave to a suspension today or tomorrow. JB needs to get some great coaching on what to say and he needs to be very very very careful.

Jb needs to stand up and say I'm very sorry to the two accusers. Just say that they were wrong about him seeing him in that room.

The doc has been very quiet through this.

This type of "crisis" should come from the top, meaning Chancy Nancy. Syracuse University needs to speak with one voice on this, meaning there is little need for Doctor Daryl to say anything. Let Chancy Nancy handle this from an administrative standpoint and somebody buy a muzzle for Coach Boeheim this time around.

I don't trust Nancy. If this was investigated properly the first time around by Bond et all we wouldn't be here today. But alas, maybe it was and Canter buried her head. This is getting better by the day.

She didn't actually do the investigation herself. She hired a reputable law firm to take care of business and it can back clean. What else do you want her to do? Knock on Fine's door and she if she can "take a look around the place"?

Just because the firm is reputable, doesn't mean they did a good job. If they followed proper investigative protocal and did all due diligence and found no substantiation of the claims, I'm fine (pun intended) with it. On the other hand, if they did find substantiation and Canter chose to bury her head hoping it would go away, she should be hung. How this drama plays out will be fascinating.

You're reaching on this one...suppositions on a document that no one is privy to

The law firm is too reputable to stay quiet on this much longer. I expect a press conference from Cantor and then a statement from BS&K (the law firm). JB will then use one the news outlets to say something like, "I am just focused on basketball. The new reports are troubling, but that is for the law authorities to figure out. We have an obligation to our students to stay focused on basketball and academics".

And, yes, I highly doubt that the chair will be left open for Fine. It seems at the least he is guilty of staying married to some sort of psychopath, and possibly being one himself.

Don't forget. The University hired a public relations firm for just this reason. They will handle it the way the firm says they should.
