I truly believe that if Doug had made a bowl last year he would have been given a three year extension but gross has his hands tied at this point. I do not believe he is a good college OC nor do i believe he is much more than average on game day as he is slow to make changes his stubborn nature tends to keep him in a poor game plan too long.  In the end if he doesnt make it he will have failed in my opinion simply because he didnt hire a proven OC.  Lets hope he wins  5 or more this year and gets a solid extension.
