In 2009 I don't think the staff truly knew what they had and felt they could move the ball effectively with a 5th year senior QB in Paulus who knew the offense well enough to be effective.  Yet you cite the season with the worst record of the 3 ... 4-8 in 09 ... 7-5 in 2010 and 5-7 last year ... Now this season we are moving at such a rapid pace the defense isn't getting much time to rest ... albeit for a different reason ...

I think maybe you should worry about the pass defense more ... 28 ypg difference between 09 and 11 ... and a whopping 36 ypg difference between 10 and 09 ... look at the pass defense along with the record for each season and maybe you'll finally see the correlation ... but since you have all the answers we'll just fire Shafer and hire you.
