Basket. Is an grindfest - highly contested back down, mid range jumpers. When we attack off the dribble at poor angles & those shots are contested at the rim as well. We don’t run - At all. What is our identity on offense?

Defense? - It speaks for itself. Teams get what they want on us. We don’t have better than average size, athleticism, quickness, rotations, IQ, etc. Pack line defense is an identify - we have none. There’s no defensive cohesion or chemistry, there’s literally nothing that we do on defense well.

Misc.? - Culture? Grit? Player evaluation? Determination? Hustle? Coming together in adversity? Skill/player development? Situational basketball? Inbound plays?

What is ONE thing we can claim that Syracuse basketball is WELL coached in? I like Red, I have nothing against him. I want Syracuse to succeed with every fiber of my being. But there isn’t anything we’re well coached in. That’s why, as I stated a few days ago, I don’t think next years recruiting class changes anything… yes, talent matters, but I see nothing that gives me confidence from a coaching standpoint that will change.
