For what it's worth I like many have been frustrated, optimistic, hopeful you name it regarding our football program. I've always felt HCSS had the right intentions and is a great man. We'll never know what a full cycle of HCSS's team would look like. it's a business and our CEO made a decision to move on. As a loyal fan and a business man I move on with the program to the next chapter. So the reason for the post, which i rarely do. Last week I had the opportunity to attend a lunch with Mike Tirico. He was awesome! Very cool to get some perspective on the world of sports from one if not the best in the business. So i had to ask about the direction of the program and thoughts of the future. He was very complementary of Coyle and the direction of program. This was before the firing so of course there was no mention or indication HCSS would be let go. Tirico spoke with confidence re Coyle which left me feeling like we have the right guy pulling the strings. It's going to be interesting to see how this plays out. I hope the team can pull one out for Shafer and send him out with a W...LGO
