I'm sorry if there's been another thread about him, but I didn't see one on here...

Anyway, ESPN just released its top 300 for the class of 2015, and TJ comes in at number 217, and is rated by ESPN as the top player in New York in that year's class.

They show him having offers from Bama, Michigan, Penn State, Wisconsin, as well as SU and a few others.

They had one on the wrong year, think it was 2013.

Shows you how intelligent Ernie really was was. Soft spoken, yes, but we sometimes take simplicity of words as a weakness. For him, he said more in a small paragraph then many have attempted in a whole book! He did so in interviews, on and off the field, and when all odds were stacked against him. You don't have to use huge words for people to think. He was the "man", and we are who we are because of kids just like him. I scoof at all those reporters in the ACC that didn't know the history of Syracuse, and Ernie was right at the heart of it. I just hope that one day, the #44 will once again be carried on to that field, because retired numbers become forgotten. We all need for the legend to return one day, and the lessons that it may bring again in his and many others names before him that wore that number with dignity and pride. If we learned one thing about Ernie, it wasn't about football, its about life.
