I think losing to us in the Dome is a better loss than getting out gunned in an empty Carolina Panthers stadium by SMU who couldn't even beat BYU.

We probably did the ACC a solid here. Have to cross your fingers and hope SMU Clemson winner gets the bye.

Miami has been just as irrelevant as us since they left the NBE. BC and VT were the ones who won when they went to the easier conference. Just like us 2018 was their only other good regular season they've had recently.

They do get ranked preseason every year even if it's always 7-5 at the end.

Not surprised. They had a couple big plays called back for holding. One was legit. The other was iffy. Refs missed a few holds on us that they could have called. That's always how it is, and why I don't like to blame refs.

I’d wager most of those fans have never been to the Everglades and some of them not even Florida.

Their oily fanbase has some similarity to the Notre Dame “subway alumni” found in the NYC metro area and elsewhere. Just with more-gaudy jewelry.

Miami has been a fraud all year. Got lucky with VT call, should have lost to Cal. Shootout vs Louisville. The haven't stopped anybody. What is their best win? Duke at home. They won't make the playoffs, go to a so-so bowl and lose to Wisconsin as usual.
But next pre-season... ESPN...are the Canes back!!!
