Clemson has a secondary full of NFL CBs.
Cordera Tankersley is the best DB in the ACC and an NFL first round pick.

If AET goes off today he will make serious money. He could be a 2nd or 3rd round pick if he does well today. NFL scouts will be watching this game tape a lot today. I hope he doesn't press.

One of the side benefits of this offense/tempo is that I don't think it even gives the kids enough time to think, which prevents "over thinking" or pressing.

Just make plays baby! (and win)

EDIT: I put the over/under at 100 yards and 1 score, which I think will put him in the paycheck portion of your post.

Disagree , AET has already showed he can win 50/50 balls against athletic corners like the BC kid. today is not the day to spotlight his performance . his performance is premised with how our young oline plays against their front 7 . a big day will be bonus , but a bad day shouldn't hurt his draft stock.

that's fair.

I still think hed be a reach regardless in the 2nd, but if he performs well it would be a resume builder to move be a late 3 early 4 at worst.

queue the 'no, hes a 1st rounder posts'...

Agree. He can get open, but he doesn't have 1st round speed.

No chance he is a first round pick. He doesn't have the 4.3 speed You need for that round. If he does well today and runs under 4.5 he could a 2nd day pick. I would lean 3rd round but I could see if he blew up but a mid/late 2nd round pick.
AET reminds me of ex-NFL WR Nate Washington. Not elite speed but he gets long TDs anyway.

Agree. If he shows in workouts/Combine that he can get separation, I could see him in the 2nd round.

You don't need to end speed to be a first round draft choice if you're tall. Very very few WRs run 4.3s. A 4.4 is considered very good speed for a wr in the draft and a 4.5 is very acceptable. Devin Funchess ran a 4.7 in 2015, and was drafted in the early second round so...

Funcbess is a hybrid TE/WR. I don't see AET in that mold. He is a pure WR and isn't a big WR or athletic freak.
