If Hackett isn't ready, Herman would be my first choice.

Landed his first offensive coordinator position at age 29 at Texas State where they led the conference in total offense and in his second season they ranked eighth in the country in scoring. That led him to Rice at age 32, where his offense broke 40 records in his first season. Then hired by Iowa State, where they improved under him.
