Really rooting for him
Interesting Jacobian mention or nah?
I don't get the fascination with Morgan by a couple here. He looked okay and is clearly ahead right now, but I'm betting on Lamson as the future.twice. Kid imo is the future QB. Throws such a pretty ball and I think has that it quality. Very cerebral.

Isn't it better to have people discussing 2 possible future QBs who aren't even on the depth chart? Vs our recent trend of one current QB with a 5th year walk-on behind him?
I don't think we have to draw lines in the sand just yet.
Sure-I just don't get the fascination with Morgan in particular. I don't care who's the QB of the future, as long as he's good.Isn't it better to have people discussing 2 possible future QBs who aren't even on the depth chart? To be honest - I wouldn’t be terrified if 3 QB’s on our roster hit the field. Doesn’t necessarily bode well for success, but I don’t know the last time I could say that.Isn't it better to have people discussing 2 possible future QBs who aren't even on the depth chart? GS adds a nice dimension in the red zone. But no doubt .. deepest QB room we've had in a while. To be honest - I wouldn’t be terrified if 3 QB’s on our roster hit the field. Doesn’t necessarily bode well for success, but I don’t know the last time I could say that.
There may be even more - just haven’t seen them.
wishing the best for TD - but I love a good scrambler, gunslinger mentality. Excited to see GS get situational work or a couple series.
I understand your point about QB1 not mentioning QB2 but Dungey wasn't the only person talking up Amie after 2018 camp.Well - Dungey mentioned Chance Amie a lot instead of TD.
And that was prescient.
Maybe it’s just that QB1 doesn’t want to talk up QB2 since they’re in direct competition, so they throw a bone to another guy who they aren’t as risk of losing their job to?
I was being told by people from camp that year that Amie was blowing people away. The Dungey quote came out shortly thereafter. It’s too bad, we’ve had too many situations where QB’s didn’t work out over the last 10 years. Here’s some that I was excited about anyway…I understand your point about QB1 not mentioning QB2 but Dungey wasn't the only person talking up Amie after 2018 camp.
Many people thought Amie had a very good chance to beat out Tommy. Given how poorly the O has played in the past two years I don't think that prediction would've been far off the mark.
Of course, many people also were unaware how much of a Grade A knucklehead Chance would turn out to be.
Dead on with your last sentence. As I heard Brian Ward say...Amie's behaviors are the type that could bring down an entire program. I never got details on those behaviors and I won't even speculate. Maybe someone else has some details.I understand your point about QB1 not mentioning QB2 but Dungey wasn't the only person talking up Amie after 2018 camp.

Yeah, the quote was something like “he’s the kind of kid who gets an entire staff fired” or something to that effect.
Ooofa.
All that said - he’s literally DONE NOTHING in football since leaving, but somehow he was gonna be our QB savior vs P5/ACC level competition??
His off field issues have nothing to do with his talent. oh well.
