The bids’ll go out
Tomorrow
Bet your b-c-s bid
That tomorrow
There'll be twelve!

Just thinkin' about
Tomorrow
Boise St. and Navy
end the sorrow
'We’ll be swell!

We’re stuck in a league
With hoops,
And no TV,

We called the Big Ten
who said,
we’ll see,

Oh,

The bids’ll go out
Tomorrow
So we gotta hang out
'Til tomorrow
t’see who stays…
Tomorrow!
Tomorrow!
Just get here
Tomorrow!
before there’s no one left to play..

You have to be the only person I know that watches Annie on Halloween each year.

Yesterday,
Norfolk State was always there to play,
Now it looks as though SMU is here to stay,
Oh, I believe in yesterday.

Suddenly,
Stadiums not full as it used to be,
Shady's contract hanging over me,
Oh, yesterday came suddenly.

Why Cuse
Had to go I don't know, TGD wouldn't say.
I said,
Big10 wrong, now I long for yesterday.

Yesterday,
Delaware State was such an easy game to play,
Now a blow out happens every game,
Oh, I believe in yesterday.

Why Pitt
Had to go I don't know, Piscataway.
I said,
Rutgersal now I long for them to play.

Mm-mm-mm-mm-mm-mm-mm.

This is pure talent.

The problem is all inside your head she said to me,
The answer is easy if you take it logically,
I'd like to help you in your struggle to be free,
There must be fifty ways to leave your conference.

She said it's really not be habit to intrude,
Furthermore I hope my meaning won't be lost or misconstrued,
So I'll repeat myself, at the risk of being crude,
There must be fifty ways to loeave youre conference,
Fifty ways to leave your conference.

Get a court-issued writ, Pitt,
Pay some extra juice, Cuse,
File suit in your home county, Mountie,
Just listen to me.

It's a bitter pill, 'Ville,
Got some mighty shoes to fill,
Too bad you bite, Knight,
Cause we're gonna take flight.

If someone can put together a properly formed haiku about this stuff I'll be more than impressed...

So much talent on this board.

Rutgers History
Wait, what in the hell is that
An aberration

Sunny Conference call.
Syracuse and Pitt have left
Knights in Shady place.

Jake:

What did you put in your coffee this morning, and can I have some? LOL!!!!

Dreams in New Jersey -
National championship
Unthinking youngsters

Ratings unbounded
Big East name inheritor
Last program sitting

The Rutgers Lament:

Atlantic or BiG
They'd be lucky to have us
Those dreams died today

SU, Pitt are gone
Kings of New York left behind
Who's surprised? No one

I wish I knew Rutgers fight song, I'd try to come up with something.

Then again, who would even get it? I mean, who knows Rutgers fight song inside or outside New Jersey?

Could probably use Bon Jovi's Livin' on a Prayer, seems Jersey enough. Don't even have to change the words too much. Jon Bon must have seen this coming years ago.

I think it is "Send in the Clowns"

On the banks of the ol' Raritan. Hence the name of their SBNation fan site - On the Banks. Having lived in NJ for 20+ years, you tend to absorb some of this stuff. Wish I could purge it.

Isn't there a song "Nobody ever died for dear old Rutgers"
