HOPE THIS IS NOT TRUE...

don't know if he is gone, but he was told he would go in the 3rd round range maybe as high as late 2nd and low of 4th.
That's cool. I doubt it, but it sounds cool.

If that's the case, he should definitely go. No question about it.

No question about it? It's the 3rd round.
3rd round in the draft is a solid position. Unless he plans on having a "30 sack" season in 2012, its unlikely his stock is going to rise much more than that.
But if his 3rd round turns into a 5th round pick, he'll regret his decision.
Yep, 100%. Compared to coming back and playing for next year's SU team? No brainer.

It's funny to me how some people think Chandler should go as a 3rd-rounder, yet Donte Greene was bashed for leaving and being picked much earlier.
Did any of this have to do with head coach Doug Marrone losing control of his locker room during the final five games of the season?
My guess, is yes
There are only 2 rounds of the NBA draft. There are 7 rounds of the NFL draft.
Going in the 3rd round of the NFL draft is akin to being a late 1st round/early 2nd round NBA draftee. It is a solid draft position.
I tweeted at the author, he told me him and the other media members were the source. People on this board are more well connected than this clown. From that SB Nation article linked above.
Sucks when you start seeing this stuff in print from the media. It's one thing to hear scuttlebutt on the board but this kind of thing isn't good to see in print. Not good for recruits to see at all.
Doug certainly has his work cut out for him ... 2012 is a sink or swim type year for him and it's not looking good.
