Perhaps they can round up the $$ for one hire since there are bound to be defections with strong recruiting relationships where SU needs them.
Who says you can't? There is no limit to the coaching staff...and we are expecting to make some coin on this ACC move.
I think we could fit one or two choice recruiting coaches onto our staff...
10 coaches is the limit. You can finagle that with grad assistants and S&C, and also director of player development etc. But I think 10 is the limit for the guys who can go on the road recruiting.i actually think there is
Exactly. Given our sources, and the way that the first rumor seems solid, I would have expected a 2nd guy would be known.Do we know that a 2nd person was hired?

This guy (note that he also coached LBs):
Robb Smith
MarroneIt might be 10 now, I always thought it was 9.
It sure seems like there is more to that than just rumor. He was listed in the SU directory as an assistant football coach. I doubt we would back out on that now even if we could.I thought the Eastern Michigan guy was already rumoured to be DM's pick for the LB's ? Wishful thinking I suppose as I believe DM already said he was going to take ST. Smith did a very good job with ST's for the Girls.
Marrone
Hackett
Adkins
Wheatley
Moore
Shafer
Daoust
Brumbaugh
Anselmo
Conley
That's 10.
Brian grew up in Ilion and actually led Ilion to the Section 3 football championship in the Dome back in 1990. Weather is not an issue. He did grow up an Indiana Basketball fan, but I won't hold that against him.Brian Angelichio is the guy I want. TE coach there and before that PITT. He went to St. Lawrence so it is not like the weather will deter him. I believe he is an excellent NJ recruiter as well.
