Yeah I agree. Beal looked like the best player in the McD AA gameI'm going on record again by saying that Brad Beal is going to be a real stud. Can't believe he is ranked #14. Hopefully Xmas makes a bigger impact then he does.
Saw one of his high school games (on TV). Rak played a wing at the back of their zone, was decent on the boards (considering his height--might have expected better), and not much of a factor on offense. He is lean & athletic -- will block shots and run the court. Did not play as a center; did not show post-up moves inside; does not have a dribble move to the basket. So, no, I don't believe he is caught between positions -- he needs to be a PF and he needs to develop some skills. His problem this year will be the combo with whoever is at C -- difficult to imagine that we play Keita at C plus Rak. Neither one provides shooting or post moves, so you might be fine on defense, but struggle to get scoring. With Melo at C, it depends on whether the light has gone on for Melo.Alot of people counting big time on Rak. Sure hes raw but even more the question for me is...
Is he the Paul Harris type caught inbetween two positions to a hinderance? Or is he the Rick Jackson type caught in between two as a positive?
Once practice starts can't wait to hear which position has more upside for him this year.
What positions is he caught between? He's going to be a 4 for us.Alot of people counting big time on Rak. Sure hes raw but even more the question for me is...
