You need to take these lists lightly, but it’s also why we can’t take these losses lightly either. You just can’t replace guys like these in programs like ours. All these “we’ll be fine” posts are just whistling past the graveyard in my opinion.

Must we move on with what we have? Yes, of course. But what might’ve been is extremely frustrating. Let’s hope the players we brought in can actually play. We’ll see.

I thought he improved compared to 2021. I do think he's going have a nice year with Rocky Long's mentorship of "The Rover"

Program should have folded once Carter and Duce left. Not sure how they will even field a team.

Everything is fine.

Duce is the bigger loss, Carter is very replaceable. The sky isn’t falling.

It’s college football, rosters change. graduation, injury, transfers, grades.

Program has done a good job in addressing the db unit the last two cycles.

the defense should be very good, even without those two

A deeper/more effective DLine will make life a little easier for the DBs. Hopefully we get enough pressure up front that they don’t have to play as tight for as long, and can take sone chances.

I feel Johnson is going to have a great year. 6’3 205. Got a lot of experience after GS was injured. The second corner spot is the question mark. Really hope one of the transfers or jucos with size step up.

They brought in competition. Don't forget Quan Peterson played a ton in the bowl game too. Lots of players will be aiming to be CB2
