He had a good, not great senior season.  Part of this was due to injury.  He is still very slight (6’8 195) and it is no surprise he got banged up in the preseason and ended up missing the first 3 games of the season.  After that, he was quite good.  Ended up with 697 yards and 9 TDs receiving and had around 161 yards rushing as well.  Not great numbers but not bad.  Not many catches but he averaged 27 ypc, which is impressive.

They put him on defense late in the season and he made some plays there (looked really really raw).  But there is no doubt he is a very good athlete.  If he can get to the point where he is strong enough to play P5 level football, he could end up being a very good player.

I put him on my list as the #10 prospect in the state, based more on potential than production.  The lists that have him as the #2 player in NYS are IMHO insane, but to me, he is easily the best of all the project B list players that Rutgers signed from NYS in 2023.  I do think that if Strong can get stronger (he is another skinny kid), he could be a starter down the road.
