Like use him to soften up the defense to make room for your even more explosive playmakers. I'm curious if they figure out that they need to use him more in short to medium yardage situations. We certainly aren't going to be shy about throwing the ball to wide receivers. It's something between Allar and the offensive staff. They didn't even look to make plays with the wide receivers until they were down 17-3. Penn State has an excellent defense and you wonder if that affects offensive play calling. You don't want to risk interceptions trying to get it to your wide receivers to put more pressure on the defense. But guess what, when you are going up against elite teams they also have great defenses. They can contain your NFL running backs and tight ends if your not throwing to the wide receivers.
