Yes, and the coaching mentality seems to be (not surprisingly)...if what is on the floor is working dont change it unless there is a need (ie breather, foul trouble, or injury), as its been going things are often "going well." As a result players have seen sustained time on the bench, longer than you would expect. This is especially true for the guards, who seem to be in more of a "flow of the game" type rotation and the bigs. For example, I think Waiters sat for first 7 or 8 minutes of the second half, whereas if SU had not been stretching the lead, he probably comes in 3-5 minutes into the half. Unless he was hurt, it seems the same reasoning followed for keeping Triche out for such a long period, SU was keeping the game in hand and Waiters and Jardine were both playing well. Other random thoughts: 1. This team really looks better when Triche is playing and shooting well. It was great to see his second half. I wish at times he would be a bit more animated and seem to be enjoying himself out there more, but I guess that is just his demeanor. 2. The Keita injury may be a blessing in that it is really helpful to see Christmas get more extended minutes, for this year and next year. 3. As good as Josh Pace was, he is looking more and more like a poor man's CJ Fair. In my view, Fair is, at worst, SU's 4th most valuable player (defined as the player SU could least afford to lose to injury).
