Trill,Iffy, Shy...

Thought all three really showed out well yesterday.

Glad to see Shy get some burn. He made a couple plays out there on those flare passes to RBs that should keep him in the rotation.

Thought same on Shy. For most part he was situational alternate with Trill and certainly played like he belonged out there.

Iffy was awesome. Really noticeable how well he played and came up big in big moments.

Shy also got downfield way ahead of anyone else and made a great crunching hit on a kick returner. Stopped him in his tracks.

I thought he played well, but to me, he was the second best freshman DB, we ran out there.

While I was sitting at the game, every time Shy was in we made a stop.
Cordy would come in and they would make a play. Cordy had a bad game, and has not played well this year. It's time for Cordy to sit, he would be better on offense.

Yeah ur right. Thought Trill did great when he played for Cordy. Shy needs more reps big time.

Other than Tommy i thought that Iffy was the reason we won. He was challenged numerous times and won every time. He was excellent.

I think I posted on another thread that Coach Ward challenged Iffy after he was in for a couple of series. He said to him essentially that he was playing too far off his man as if he was afraid he would run by him. After the encouragement, he seemed to move up and be be more aggressive. From my untrained eye, he also seemed to grow more and more confident as the game went on. Like most of you, I really like what I saw.
