I'm too swamped at work to try and research it, especially after wasting all of yesterday hitting F5 to see if there was news on Battle's decision, only for it to come out 15 minutes after I left work. Anybody know the last time Syracuse returned all five starters?

Other teams returned 5 guys who ended up starting.

Edelin actually started one more game than Nichols in 2003-04 (16 to 15), but I agree that 2004-05 is the right answer because Nichols finished 2003-04 as the starter.

98-99 starters Hart, Blackwell, Etan, Damone Brown and Allen Griffin all returned the following year, but Griffin was replaced in the starting lineup at shooting guard by sophomore Tony Bland. Sophomore Preston Shumpert also returned.
