I think the addition of Hickey to the right side of the line has improved the protection. But as the season has progressed, has Trudo slowed down a bit? He seems to be getting caught with a couple of penalties each game, whether it be his own doing or the blocking scheme putting him in a bad position. Is he the weak link in the line, or is it merely a function of teams targeting him?

Maybe I'm seeing something different.

All that being said, I'm very excited about his potential.

Correct...he is a RS frosh and I think he has acquitted his self quite well. We've had a number a very good runs off the right side so he must be getting the job done.

I think he's also still the backup center/Macky's helmet came off and we need someone to snap for a play guy. Marrone and Adkins must love him if they trust him in two different spots.

I noticed the same thing.. he was undoubtedly struggled at times. He was moments of great play too. He is a typical young player. He will only get better. I have extremely high hopes for him. Hope he can have a solid finish to the season and build on it next year. We will need him.
