Well Nick invited Kate and I to a function where some recruits were being entertained and one of them was a RB, Macintosh who at the time was down to Syracuse, State and maybe one other school.  Anyway i remember getting a few minutes with the kid and just gushing about  Syracuse and telling him how much i liked Syracuse and upstate NY vs Lansing.  Well segway a few months later and Nick is talking with me and a few of the guys at the club about his recruiting class and he says that it went pretty much as planned with the exception of this RB out of Conn who ended up picking Syracuse.
