The Orange have used the full court press to take advantage of their athleticism. It has helped generate easy baskets when the Orange are struggling to hit shots. Syracuse’s defensive pressure has caused 222 turnovers and led to 128 steals through 11 games. PG Michael Carter-Williams only played two minutes against N.C. State because Jim Boeheim said “it wasn’t the right game for him.” Expect to see more of the freshman against Bucknell assuming Syracuse builds a lead. Carter-Williams has been steadily improving with more playing time.
