The "You're in a Big Club" article is dead nuts.

Lets see, drive another 100 miles past Columbus and you're in Cincinnati . . . and another 100 miles farther puts you in Louisville. Or drive about 350 miles northwest and you are in Chicago, etc. Yeah, Pitt is leaving the neighborhood.

Re the article on Marinatto saying that he will hold SU and Pitt to the 27 months: It's a lot of bluster. Much of this depends on the BE/B-12 negotiations. If they get together, all the parties will want to get things wrapped up and started ASAP and the 27-month thing will go out the window. And on the outside chance that the BE/B-12 thing doesn't pan out, I think that SU and Pitt will be able to buy their way out at somewhere around $7-8 mil. Also, the prospect of having 2 programs in the conference who really don't want to be there anymore will help to expedite things. Obviously, just speculation on my part, but them's my thoughts.

Interesting the Rich Bozich article.. He disses the attendance at 40K.. We played at Wake vs 34k. at UNC vs 47K.. we only hold 49K. we played at Maryland vs 41K. Since 87 we are 8-10 vs the ACC and 21-26 all time. pretty equal stats considering you have to include the worst stretch this decade that killed the stats.
