Second time around: Coming off freshman campaigns, SU's sophomores bring experience to roster

I think the author's got it right. Much (if not all) will depend on Keita, Melo and Christmas and their ability to score in the low post. There are lots of big men in the Big East and if SU becomes too reliant on perimeter scoring it's gonna be a tough season.

That being said, I think these guys are going to give us a lot of thrills this season.

Well if we go small at the four with Southerland Fair or MCW at the three with Kris strength and Fab's size, then their really is only one center to worry about not Two Bigs in the paint.

On the other hand if you put your powerforward Rick Jackson on the High Elbow with Keita in the paint then there are two bigs to pack the paint.

I see us being able to beat a zone this year exceptionally well. Adding length at point and PF. And 6 of our forwards and guards who can hit the long ball got another year under their belt and we add Cooney a much needed true gunner at SG.
