'Cuse opponent for 12/22 is Tulane...record is 11-1 with big wins against Georgia Tech...and have a 7' center who is a leader in rebounding....this could be a good game for 'Cuse...building on our RPI which is #3 on Espn and top 5 on most others.

Does anyone know what a Macmurray is?

Their record is completely inflated by beating a bunch of 1-aa's and some really awful basketball teams. SU will roll them.

Yeah ... Murray State is one of the undefeated teams ... I think the Mc was a "miccup" - what the hey I just saw your post more closely ... obviously not the same team. I really had to blow my own horn but I have been saying (in posts) that Tulane is a very good team ... and I was, of course, getting blasted for it. So ... nah nah nah nah nah :p

Better than Belmont who played down to the wire at Duke?

Better than Harvard who win the Battle 4 Atlantis and beat a decent ACC team (FSU)

Better than Creighton, who has been ranked this year?

Better than LBSU who won at Pitt and was competitive at Kansas and UNC?

I'd be surprised.

What about Marshall? Why aren't they listed?

This ranking is all based on efficiency margins: Offensive - Defensive margins.

It's practically worthless after 10 games, and utterly misleading given the difference in schedules that some of these teams have played. In other words, if you only play 8 games, and 2 are against top teams who shut you down completely, you are going to have a much lower efficiency score than someone whose toughest opponent is GIT.

its that dude from Superbad.

What is Va Tech's RPI? It should be pretty high about now since they lost to the number one team. I bet you Seth Greenberg wishes the selection show was tomorrow. ;)

55th RPI, 38th SOS ... but Virginia Tech is not considered a mid-major

Won't matter if we beat them by 40. We will have done it in New York State, so it won't really count. :bang:

I know that...but they should be. I can't help but think of Seth Greenberg whenever talk turns to RPI and SOS. He's been the poster boy for the last 4 years. That's why I mentioned them.

Hate to do this ... but give me Tulane +40 ... that one I take to the bank
