They should be related to AAA for the rest of the season for this travesty.
And then they have the old T-Ball inning to match these T-Ball unis
-Leadoff clean single…..ok
-Line drive to left that hits the left fielder in the glove and falls to the ground in front of him…..yikes
-Batter comes to the plate hard hit ball “scalded” to second, can they turn two? No the hitter beats the relay to first?!?!
-Runner on 1st easily steals second (ooops, did the pitcher forget to hold him on??)
-Strike Out the next hitter, ball glances off the catcher’s
WRIST / heel of his mitt
and the runner on 3rd comes in to score, but the hitter doesn’t bother to run, so after going to the backstop to get the ball they throw the hitter out at first to “preserve” the strikeout.
1-1 count Phillies pitcher throws a ball behind the hitter’s head (I don’t think it was intentional)
2-2 count runner on first goes to second on ball 3 with
NO throw from the catcher
Next there is a pitch count violation that walks the hitter to load the bases.
And finally Strike 3, inning is over.
Wow!!!
