is one of the difficult things to do. i was not happy with gross taking the brunt to save jb. then there was the shafer hire. i wasn't a fan. when i heard him talk. i was really not a supporter. early returns: i was wrong. clearly there is talent all over the field. too much to be luck. they have selected kids that can play they are playing above there rating, 2's playing like 3. unranked kids like 3 stars
why are so many of u rooting against us.

Ineloquent, yet oddly perceptive. I agree.
If HCSS is given the time, I think (hope) we may have a keeper here- but no doubt, there's much more talent on the field.

dungey took a vicious blindside lick in the third quarter by a blitzing cb and fumbled. never saw it coming. took a couple sacks holding the ball way too long. he's truly inexperienced and that alone puts him at risk against a good defense. i hope he lasts the season.

Play QB, you are eventually gonna get hit. Freshman, sophomore, junior or senior... It's gonna happen at some point.. And all coaches, teammates and fans hope they last the season. Welcome to football.

Yeah, and then he proceeded to make two perfect throws in tight windows: A 21-yard pass to Kendall Moore on 3rd and 10 (the play after that hit you mentioned), and then the 53-yard touchdown pass to Steve Ishmael.

Eric Dungey could've easily been shaken after that hit, but he looked more confident instead. The kid is a gamer.

Every football player, and especially the qb, is one play away from not lasting the season. Nature of the sport.
