Turnover with 4 minutes to go in a tie game??!!

The past few years, I think Dino puts a lot of weight (too much weight) on the defense to give opportunities for the offense.

What about the Trill strip and score in OT?
That was awesome, but correct me if I’m wrong...we were out of bowl contention for that one?

In a big game with something on the line...this play tonight was just something else. I was resigning myself to the whole “defense is gassed from being on the field all second half, offense stopped playing at halftime” type loss. Seemed 100% inevitable. Man, what a play. Possibly season saving. We’ll see where it goes.

* As good as that ‘97 team was, we drop to 1-4 if Tulane scores there and the wheels probably fall off. Instead we get to 2-3, and then mostly blow everybody else out and go 9-3.

I agree!!! I must admit, I was starting the same “well we depended on defense too much”‘thought path

AND BAM!

What??!! When does that ever happen for us?

Considering the circumstances, one of the biggest defensive plays I can remember us making since like...Tebucky Jones pick 6 to end the game against Tulane?
Man you’re not kidding. This is normally a game we lose. We tried to pull defeat out of the jaws of victory but thanks to a great D did the opposite. SO IMPRESSED with the D pulling out this game.

Yeah, I pretty much still can’t believe that happened. Amazing.

Coach White has done an outstanding job with our D!
I hope ADJW is making plans to give him a meaningful raise; we need to keep him.
3-1; just 3 wins needed to go bowling. Actually, I can see more wins with who we have left. Wake will be a tough one.
We have so much young talent on D and they are aggressive and know how to tackle. Plus, they are only going to get better and perhaps their biggest assets is that they are so young that they believe in miracles; not old and jaded like too many in our society.
Great win

Timely, crucial strip by Roscoe! Cody has elevated his game this year.

HUGE. SU had become lost, and the D saved the game forcing/recovering that fumble.
Was prepared to watch Liberty methodically march down the field for a TD, then SU go 3 and out.
That's the way the game was going after SU's 3rd TD.

Was hard to watch most of the 2nd half, but so glad we aren't talking about another stinging loss today!

What? Most of the jaded people I know are young. I love generalizations, though.

Willis was a turnover waiting to happen. He tries to do so much to extend plays. Granted he’s usually successful. But I was amazed we didn’t get one all game long.
But want a time to get it!

THIS.
Because he's the best player on the field, against Liberty Biberty's normal opponents, so it usually works.

He coulda/shoulda thrown the ball away on several of those sacks, but he was trying to "make a play".
Which is why I'm questioning how good of a NFL QB he'll be, since he'll be far from the best guy on the field in every single game.

If Roscoe was a split second slower in forcing the fumble, it would have been ruled an incomplete pass. Maybe a different game outcome.

He'll get drafted...but I think we showed that talk of a Top 5 pick is folly. Wouldn't surprise me to see him fall to the 2nd round.

Who are you hanging with; the younger ones I know are bright, articulate and passionate about what they believe in. Anyway, that’s my sampling. Also, I work loads with this age group. We each have our own perceptions. Thanks for yours!
