The one thing that has impressed me the most with this team is the turnovers committed by our starting guards... Or lack thereof. Through the first 7 games Ennis has 8 total turnovers and Cooney has 8 as well.

Comparatively, last year through the first 7 games MCW had 25 turnovers and Triche had 22.

And it can be argued that this year's opponents have been better through the first 7 games. I know it is still early and the average of 1.14 turnovers a game will increase, but I think it is a great sign so far... And really our very young guards should only get better right?
(And our backup PG only has 5, in significantly less minutes)

Also of note, in Canada (4 games) Ennis had 5 total turnovers and Coooney... 1

that is really, really impressive

What we lost in defense at the top of the zone from BT and MCW is made up with better ball control and shaky potatoes.

I certainly don't yell What as much this year. HaHa. This backcourt really takes care of the ball and the decisions always seem to have a purpose. I don't need to buy the big package of tums this year.
