Same story. The SEC is killing it for ABC. Somehow even games like Ole Miss vs Miss St are getting great numbers.

The B1G continues to do relatively poorly but the OSU-Michigan game was a major exception. It was the highest rated game of the week.

SU vs Miami did well going head to head against Bama vs Auburn. Just below the ratings for Clemson vs South Carolina.

About doubled what Penn St vs Maryland/ Fresno State vs UCLA did on a split broadcast on BTN. It was in a different time slot, but we beat out the ratings for Oklahoma vs LSU. Not bad.

Rutgers had another disastrous showing, getting beaten out by games like Navy vs ECU. They are the most unwatchable team in the country.

Have you ever seen some analysis that shows how much of a different being on a national ABC over the air broadcast makes vs. ESPN? I would think with cord cutters being on a more accessible outlet like ABC makes a difference...don't think it makes a difference of 5M viewers but I'd be curious what the average difference is.

Just looking at it in past weeks, seems like 2M is fairly normal. But without the ACC having those games this year, it's hard to verify whether it's a channel issue or a conference one. The one counter I saw was Duke-Miami and that almost got 2M but Duke football tends to always under perform TV wise. The other big ACC matchups on ABC involved an SEC team and got big ratings...but hard to tell what caused it.

As I have said for a long time, going to National Bowling Tournaments, there are a lot of Syracuse Fans out there just waiting for us to get good again.
If Fran can somehow get us in the playoffs next year the numbers will hit the roof.
And then the Big will be talking through the back channels to reinforce their hold on the Northeast.
