Since then I have received at least 5 calls from Time Warner saying they'll give me a deal ... I'm sorry, but my feeling is that if they can offer me these deals now why didn't they just keep their damn rates down in the first place ... b/c in many areas they are a monopoly b/c FIOS isn't available so they can rip those people off with high rates!! With FIOS I have 3 boxes - 1 a DVR that can be played on the bedroom box as well. The internet is faster... the picture is better ... and I am very happy right now. The only inconvenience is that I have to dial the area code no matter where I am calling (even locally) b/c the phone is digital ... but Duh... I can handle it. [/QUOTE]
