I didn’t think I would ever see a more electric

I was there. It was incredible. And the energy definitely matched the old Big East battles from the 80s and 90s.

Interesting that we were the cover given that we ended the season 2-5 before the tournament and were a 3 seed. They must have decided on the cover, and did the cover shot, when we were 25-0 or something.

After ending the season 2-5, I don't think many people here had much belief in that team as a final 4 contender -- compared to the 2010-2013 teams the faith on this board seemed a lot lower.

This is why the “we don’t have an identify in the ACC” narrative is nonsense. We’d have the same identity if we’d stayed in the Big East - either none, or a team that used to be relevant but isn’t now. If GMac gets the team winning, it’ll be amazing how quickly an “identity” magically appears.
