1) How do you put the champ of a P5 conference (Va Tech) at # 11 ... especially since they are one of the hottest teams in the country? Outrageous.

2) How do you leave out aTm ... one of the other hottest teams in the country?

Very disappointing bracket.

Goodness… id be heartbroken as an aggie fan. They’re little run is what March is all about, short of winning the conf tournament

So have to assume because ND got that win over UK that put them ahead of A and M even though head to head they beat ND. 15-5 in the ACC meant nothing this year.

Also A and M is 11 spots higher than ND in the NET. I mean Wake is higher in the metrics than ND. It's amazing i guess how beating UK can elevate you.

Midwest region is going to be upset City.

Iowa is honestly my pick.
Gonzaga got a pretty tough draw.

Play better during the rest of the season….
Interesting since the portal is such a promoted big deal. Those teams usually take more time to gel. Pretty mixed message about using it for quick fixes. Better be more careful picking OOC opponents which is difficult if you lose players years after setting up OOC games.

Syracuse went from not in the tournament to a 5 seed in 2006. Virginia Tech got jobbed

Yeah, which was a ridiculous over-seed for a meh team that got white-hot (bad pun intended) for a week.

And of course - the catalyst for that amazing run, got crippled during it, and was a shell of himself for the game against aTm.

Michigan, Marquette and San Francisco don't deserve to be in over ATM, Wake or Dayton.
Huh? Marquette has a very good team -- they were nowhere near the bubble. 5 Quad1 wins, 5 Quad2 wins and zero bad losses (9-0 vs Quads 3 and 4). Swept Nova and SH, beat Providence.

They only beat Duke though, it’s not like they burned through a gauntlet of top 35 teams. They should be a 9 or so, but anything above that is giving too much respect to a down league.

NBE is smoke and mirrors, you'll see.

From what I've seen over the past couple of weeks, IMO, Texas A&M beats both ND and Rutgers by double digits...not even close.

It does speak volumes/confirms just how piss poor the ACC was this year with its second place team in ND barely squeaking in and in the play-in game. Miami a #10 seed, VPI a #11 and UNC an 8 just more proof of weak sauce.
