In the event of what we witnessed the other night I would have considered the hit 2 separate infractions a targeting call and a late hit, as such the targeting could be reversed and a late hit stay in place. Now if that wasn't how the refs ruled it on the field, then obviously they can't make that late hit stand. But with the benefits of replay, it was a late hit, but not intended to be targeting the head of an opponent [/QUOTE]
