Two Faculty to Speak re: Developing Backup Plan for Carrier Dome

If anyone is interesting in attending this:

"Two members of the Chancellor’s Workgroup on the Carrier Dome Backup Plan will offer an overview of the workgroup’s findings and respond to questions on Thursday, June 19, at 10:30 a.m. in Room 304B in the Schine Student Center." http://news. /two-faculty-to-speak-on-committees-efforts-to-develop-backup-plan-for-carrier-dome-12213/

OttoMets as resident guru for building at SU, I hope you go to this and report back to us out of towners! :)

So the chancellor's work group seems to have made some significant progress relative to the mayor's 'taskforce' or whatever she called it.

The Mayors task force is sipping slurpies at the park.

I haven't heard much about this, so I'll try to run over there and check it out.

I tried the link and Yahoo says that the page cannot be found. :noidea:

I was excited to be going by a 7-11 last night so I could treat my daughter to an actual Slurpie, as opposed to the knockoffs available at other places. They were horrible, neither of us finished ours. Have they changed the formula?

Another youthful memory trashed.

Didn't find any indication on that but I found this link, which is pretty cool (no pun intended).

7-11 apparently gives free Slurpees away every July 11th, so if you feel the need again, that might be a good day to try again. More info on Slurpees...
